First Meeting of Surein Foundation’s Consultants Committee 2024 Successfully Completed!

On Saturday June 15, the first meeting of the Surein Foundation’s Consultants Committee 2024 was concluded amidst Yellow Rainstorm Warnings from the Hong Kong Observatory! A total of 15 people, including Ms. Au Kam Yiu, Mr. Au Yin Shan, Ms. Chan Yee Man, Mr. Cheng Fu Choi, Mr. Chou Wing Ping, Mr. Ho Wai Shek MH, JP., Mr. Hui Chun Mau, Mr. Leung King Fook, Mr. Li Sing Pak, BBS, Mr. Ken Lo, Ms. Patricia Wong Bik See, two directors and staff of the Foundation, attended.

The meeting reviewed the 12 projects undertaken in the first half of 2024, the remaining 6 projects planned for the rest of 2024. The Consultants also reviewed the Hon. Auditor’s report on the Foundation’s 2023 financial accounts. In response to the need to promote environmental education to a larger audience in HK SAR and the Greater Bay Area, Consultants offered suggestions based on experiences. Before ending, Mrs Brenda Lee, the Foundation’s director, presented appointment certificates to five consultants in recognition of their tremendous contributions.
