The "2024 GreenWave -- Reduce Carbon Emissions，We Can" Youth Incentive Programme Completed in Celebratory Mood!

The function, jointly organized by OISCA Hong Kong, Surein Foundation and Yuen Long Town Hall, was successfully concluded on Friday 31  May at the Yuen Long Town Hall. Distinguished guests, including Ambassador Kenichi Okada from the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong, Miss Chelsea Wong, Assistant District Officer Yuen Long, and community dignitaries, presented commendation certificates to the award-winning students.

The Competition aimed at encouraging students to observe and care about nature, showcasing flowers and trees in their neighbourhood with drawings and photographs, thereby instilling love of nature and reducing carbon emission.

More than 1,300 kindergarten and primary school students took part in the competitions. Despite the challenges of strong wind and heavy rain, 200 students, parents, and teachers showed support with their presence in the Ceremony.
