【The Surein Foundation (James and Fanny Kwan) Distinguished Seminar in Green Energy and Sustainable Technology】
The Surein Foundation (James and Fanny Kwan) Distinguished Seminar in Green Energy and Sustainable Technology was successfully conducted at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in the afternoon of January 7 at the TAM Wing Fan Innovation Wing II, Department of Mechanical Engineering, HKU. Entitled "A Healthy Building is A Prerequisite and Mandatory for Achieving Sustainable Growth", the Seminar was presented by Prof. Pawel Wargocki, Director of International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy, Technical University of Denmark. After the session, which drew 40 attendees, lively discussions on a variety of sustainability-related issues related to healthy buildings ensued. A Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Prof Wargocki, witnessed by three professors of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
